The new E0010C model is a playful interpretation of the original luxury timepiece that belonged to Puyi, the last Emperor of the Qing Dynasty.
This watch features a complicated design, including a moon phase indicator, two date windows displaying a French calendar, and a sub-dial. The lower half of the dial has a unique "scraped" hand-illustrated aesthetic that adds a whimsical vibe to the piece. Housed in a 37mm case, the E0010C is powered by a reliable Miyota8215 automatic movement.
The remarkable story behind this watch is that when Puyi was being sent back to China in 1950, he gifted the timepiece to his friend and translator, Permyakov. It remained in Permyakov's possession until his death, making this one of the rarest and most historically significant timepieces in the world today.
